Privacy Policy

Summary

ToBeDone is built to be private by default. We do not collect any personal data, we do not track you, and we do not run analytics. Your todos stay on your device. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.

Data we collect

None. kleinaberoho-studio operates no server, no analytics platform, no telemetry pipeline, and no error-reporting service for the ToBeDone app. We have no way to know who uses the app, when they use it, or what they put in it.

Data stored by the app

The app uses Apple's local SwiftData framework to store your todos, recurring schedules, and completed-item archive on your device. This data:

• never leaves your device through any code we ship,
• is not transmitted to kleinaberoho-studio or any third party,
• can be deleted at any time by deleting the app.

If you have iCloud backups enabled on your iPhone, your todos may be included in your encrypted device backup as part of Apple's standard backup system. That backup is controlled by you in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

In-app purchases (Apple StoreKit)

ToBeDone offers a one-time lifetime unlock purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. When you make a purchase:

• Apple handles the transaction, payment processing, and receipt validation.
• We receive aggregated, anonymized sales data from Apple (e.g. number of units sold per day) — never your name, address, payment details, or any identifier that links a purchase to you.
• Your purchase entitlement is verified locally by your device against the Apple App Store, not against any server we operate.

Network requests

The app communicates with Apple's StoreKit service to load product information and validate purchases. There are no other network requests — no analytics endpoints, no crash reporters, no content delivery networks, no third-party SDKs.

Children's privacy

ToBeDone is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any data, we do not knowingly collect data from children either.

Third-party services

The app bundles no third-party SDKs, no advertising libraries, and no tracking code. The only "third party" involved is Apple itself, for App Store distribution and StoreKit purchases.

Your rights under the GDPR

Because kleinaberoho-studio does not collect or process your personal data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or rectify. If you nevertheless wish to confirm this in writing, contact us at the address listed in the Imprint and we will reply with a confirmation.

For data Apple processes on your behalf (purchases, App Store account, device backups), please contact Apple via privacy.apple.com.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, the "Last updated" date above will change, and significant changes will be communicated through an app update note in the App Store release notes. We will never retroactively start collecting data without first asking you.
